Having engaged Lloyd-Warren Construction over a number of years, in several large and small building and maintenance projects, I feel sufficiently experienced

and also compelled, to express my personal perception and opinion on their service delivery.   Lloyd-Warren’s integrity and honesty is exemplary and has never been in question. We found them to be fair and reasonable, in all financial negotiations and settlements.  Lloyd-Warren appears to associate with like minded subcontractors and employ personnel who perform similarly. For us the entire building process has culminated in a favourable experience, contrary to normal practice. 
 
My experience of them has displayed their willingness to not “just carry out the work”, but to helpfully advise and propose enhanced cheaper alternatives, based on their many years of invaluable experience. They have a friendly, business-like approach and make every attempt to adhere to the milestone dates. 
 
The end result of all my experience is a superior product and a happy customer. As in most cases a minor latent defect does occur and Lloyd-Warren has never shirked from their maintenance period obligation and even returned a year later to fix a problem at no cost.

“In 2000 my wife and I made a decision to relocate to KZN and build a new residence on a stud farm we owned in partnership.  The farm was located in a ruralarea close to Richmond and our initial concern was that because of its remoteness we would struggle to find a builder prepared to undertake the project as the workmanship and finishes we were looking for were of a very high standard. However through a Durban based architect who was known to us, we put the contract out to tender and on his recommendation awarded it to Lloyd-Warren.  When the project commenced, I was living temporarily in Australia and my wife was still in Johannesburg so we were very much in the hands of the contractor.  But, we had no cause for concern because:
 
The standard of workmanship was excellent
There was daily on-site supervision either by Patrick or his sons
The building site was kept clean and tidy
Site meetings were held on a regular basis
The contract was completed on time and within budget
 
The after-sales-service has also been outstanding. Nothing has been too much trouble and after all the horror stories you hear from your friends all we can say is that our experience with the ompany has been an absolute pleasure and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.
